Privacy notice
How we handle information on the Kite website and invitation-only simulation lab.
Effective October 16, 2026 · Kite Industries, Inc.
Who operates this website
Kite Industries, Inc. operates kiteprinters.com, kitepcb.com and kitepcb.netlify.app, including the private lab. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or a request to delete your information, contact support@kiteprinters.com.
Information we collect and why
- Updates and inquiries. Your email and any name, organization, interests or message you choose to submit. We use these to respond and, when you request it, send Kite updates.
- Career inquiries. Contact details, location, availability, background, work links and project descriptions you submit. We use these to discuss potential opportunities, separately from the updates list.
- Lab accounts. An invited member’s name, email, authentication information, invitations and model permissions. Our hosting and identity services process these to sign you in and restrict access.
- Technical information. Our service providers process connection information such as IP address, browser, request time and requested resource for delivery, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Lab sign-in attempts are rate-limited.
- Correspondence. Emails you send us and our replies, so we can handle your request and keep a record of the conversation.
Please do not submit passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information, confidential circuit files or export-controlled information through the public forms.
Services that process information
We use Netlify for website hosting, lab identity, server functions and access records; Formspree for submitted website forms; and Proton for company email. Formspree receives a form only when you submit it. Company mail may also be processed through Proton Mail Bridge on our privately managed server.
Our team may use AI-assisted tools, including OpenAI, to search correspondence and prepare replies. Information included in that work is processed by the tool provider; hosting our mail connection privately does not make AI processing entirely local. We do not intentionally submit passwords or payment credentials to these tools.
Information may be processed outside your state or country, including in the United States and other locations used by these providers. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service and address misuse. External links have their own privacy practices.
Cookies, local storage and tracking
The public pages use locally hosted fonts and do not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. We do not sell website information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The private lab uses a necessary, Secure, HttpOnly session cookie with a 12-hour lifetime. The simulator may save interface preferences and work-in-progress settings in your browser’s local storage. These are not advertising cookies; clearing browser storage resets them. Signing out ends the lab session.
We do not track visitors across unrelated websites for advertising. The site does not change its behavior in response to a Do Not Track signal; Global Privacy Control does not enable or disable any advertising sharing because this site does not perform that sharing. Hosting, form and identity providers still process the technical information needed to deliver and protect their services.
Your choices and retention
You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@kiteprinters.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. To stop Kite updates, reply “unsubscribe” to an update or email contact@kiteprinters.com. A career inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
We retain contact and inquiry records while needed to respond, manage the requested relationship and meet applicable legal obligations. Lab account and permission records remain while access is managed; expired invitations cannot be used. Some records may remain in service-provider backups, security records or records we must retain by law. Contact us about a particular record rather than assuming that closing a browser deletes it.
The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us to exercise them.
Changes to this notice
We publish revisions here and update the effective date. If our practices change materially, we will provide additional notice where required before using information for a materially different purpose.
